SEPULTURA: 10 New Songs Ready To Go

November 7, 2002

SEPULTURA have completed rough versions of 10 new songs in instrumental form for their upcoming studio album, due in early 2003. According to the group's official web site, "last week they recorded a CD with 8 of [the songs] and they are using it to work on the lyrics... [Frontman] Derrick [Green] plays guitar in six songs and he is screaming, screaming really loud! In other news, 'Revolusongs', the cover EP, is coming out in Brazil [through FNM/Universal Records] next month! That's right. Plus a limited vinyl edition is going to be released. Limited? Yes, only 2000 copies."

A worldwide release date for "Revolusongs" has yet to be announced. Expect the CD to surface through SPV/Steamhammer Records in Europe and JVC Records in Japan. The group are still negotiating a North American deal following their split with Roadrunner Records earlier in the year.
